Your missions As a member of the Global Manufacturing Engineering – Utilities team, you will help define the utilities solutions applied in all L'Oréal plants worldwide. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the PLUS standard (Plant Utilities Standard): contribute to the review of the standard that will apply to all sites (heating, cooling, Building Management System, nitrogen).
- Market watch and benchmarking: identify the best market solutions to produce, store and distribute heating and cooling (steam, chilled water, hot water) for buildings (HVAC) and production processes.
- Leading a group of experts: bring together plants, Global Manufacturing, suppliers and consultants to define the best solution.
- Writing the standard: draft the 'must-have' reference for all L'Oréal sites worldwide.
- Hosting webinars: present the work to the engineering communities.
Your profile
- You are enrolled in a Master's program (engineering school or university), looking for a gap-year or final-year internship, with a specialization in energy engineering, thermal engineering or process engineering(to be validated).
- Solid background in heat transfer and heat exchangers, steam systems (boilers, steam generators) and piping sizing (pressure drop, flow rate, filtration, energy recovery).
- Analytical and synthesis skills, good communication, and teamwork.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
